Ryan Godown posts Short Track Super Series victory at Georgetown Speedway





Ryan Godown won the 40 lap Short Track Super Series Mid-Atlantic Championship at the Georgetown Speedway on Saturday. This was Ryan's sixth win of the season, first at Georgetown Speedway this year, and second Short Track Super Series win of the season. For the 42 year old Godown it was their fouth win putting him first on the Georgetown Speedway win list since 2008.
Finishing in second was Ryan Watt. This was Ryan's thirty-fifth Top 5 of the season, fouth at Georgetown Speedway this year, and fifth Short Track Super Series Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Jamie Mills, their fifteenth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Duane Howard, their thirty-fifth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Anthony Perrego, their twenty-third top 5 of the year.
David VanHorn Jr., Scott Hitchens, Frank Cozze, HJ Bunting III, and Jimmy Horton rounded out the top 10.
