21st - Reg. Show-Mechanics Race Pure Stock: Won by George Parker.

The surface tonight was in great shape even after all the rain, which held off by the way till the end of the night. The Matthews an crew does a wonderful job of making the best of the track they can. It takes hours of work but, on race night it is all worth it...

358 Modified:Mike Shane, Tony Harris, Don Hart Jr., Steve HartmanJr., & Tom Gervasi: What a good race this was , right from the beginning Harris had the lead with Hart an Shane knocking on the 9cats door with no luck until about 2 laps to go when Harris had a moment on mechanical problems an Hart now in the lead an Shane second, but with 1 lap to go Harris over takes Hart with not enough time to work on Shane.

Street Stocks: Don Silvernail, Sonny Terry, J.T, McKernan, Wayne Baldwin, & Dave Yehl: Horton with his 66 machine had a nice lead for several laps only to be taken around by another car, which opened the door for Silvernail to take over the lead followed by Terry having a great run with McKernan all over him as he did with every car he past. Baldwin, Yehl followed the leaders to the finish line.

Pure Stocks: Frank Chapman, Bobby Butcher, Ernie Martin, Terry Petrabwski, & Ty Hurlbut: It took Chapman awhile to pass Butcher for the win, an Martin rough rode his was to a third place finish. Petrabwski ran the 4g Parker car. Hulrbut had his hands full to bring home a fifth place finish.

Mini's: Ray Hyer, Lori Bishop, Paul Seymour, David Kinner, & Bill Shea: With Colton on the pole running strong it took a few laps for Hyer to over take him once in lead he never let it go. Bishop had her share of trouble but finished with a fine second, Seymour with his best finish yet with the only truck.

IMCA'S: Larry Robbins, Steve Hartman Jr. Dan Gardner, Lyle Smith, & Clayton McClean: It did not take Robbins long to come from 6th place start to take the lead. This was good close racing in this class tonight to the end, with very few caution an door to door battles
