Pierson wins Pro Streets feature

BRADFORD, Vt. -- Swenson Insurance night presented a full card of racing plus the New England Sprint cars and a 4 cylinder Enduro event.
In the H.O. Taylor Pro Streets it would be the Ryan Pierson weekend as he had back to back wins, having won at the Ridge’s sister track on Friday night. Barry Fraser was back in action after a wreck several weeks ago put him out of contention. His first week back saw him working from deep in the pack to an impressive fifth place finish. Cautions would slow the pace with Ryan Avery, Dan Eastman and Bryan King completing the top five when the checkers finally waved. Heat winners: Ryan Pierson, Bryan King.

Feature Finish: Ryan Pierson, Ryan Avery, Dan Eastman, Bryan King, Barry Fraser, Brian Piper, Mark White, Joe Perreault, Dave Stearns, Alex Zeller, Richard Ryan, Will Hull, Richard Simmons. The Gilmour Ford Sportsman Coupes were the feature division with an extra chance to strut their stuff in a semi feature. The one doing all the strutting would be rookie sensation Tyler Rich as he made it a clean sweep, winning all three events. Doug Titus and Steve Ellsworth would have to work from deep in the pack along with Rich, Adam Pierson, and Louis Cadwell in the feature, putting on an action packed show, as they not only weaved their way through traffic but diced it out among themselves for the victory lane positions. At the end it would be Rich over Pierson and Cadwell. Titus and Ellsworth would complete the top five. Heat winners: Kevin Chaffee, Tyler Rich . Semi winner: Tyler Rich

The Mekkelsen RV 358 Modifieds put on the best show of the night as Dan Douville and Carl Murray battled side by side for over thirteen laps for the first place spot. The fans were standing on their feet, not wanting to miss a second of this thrilling show. Only two cautions would slow the pace for minor spins, and when it was all done Douville would be victorious over Murray .

In the Journal Opinion Fast Fours Chris McKinstry and Andy Johnson continue to impress as this duo weekly work their way from deep in the pack to the front, providing the fans with plenty of racing excitement. This week in would be McKinstry first across the line, followed by Dean Switser Jr, and Lenny Garduno, and Andy Johnson.
