Bear Ridge 358 Special Belongs To Jimmy Ryan
BRADFORD, VT- Four races into the 2001 Twin State 358-Modified Series, the 11 event series is still without a repeat winner.
Add the name of red-hot Jimmy Ryan to the list of vic tors as he turned in a strong performance to win last Saturday night's 40-lap small block Mod feature at Bear Ridge Speedway
While it was Ryan's second win of the season on the quar ter-mile oval, it was his first Series victory and he had to outrun a strong field to earn the checkers.
Ryan looked like he'd been shot out of a cannon when the green flag dropped in the race. He started down everything in front of him as he charged for ward to take the lead very early in the distance.
Once in front Ryan never looked back.
Fellow CVRA regular Don Scarborough came from the fifth row to finish second, but Saturday's race belonged to Ryan.
