Stateline Mods To Jeff Schaffer; Ruhlman Tops Late Models

BUSTI, NY - Jeff Schaffer won Saturday night's special big-block Modified feature at Stateline Speedway. The event was under the Bicknell Racing Products/American Racing Tire banner, with 22 cars taking the green for the 30-lap main.
After two early crashes slowed the action on the third-mile clay oval, Schaeffer gained command. He led to the checkered, opening up a ten car length lead on the way to his first tour vic tory.
Former Stateline regular Scott Gurdak outdueled Jeff Hoffman on the 24th circuit and they finished in that order. Tim Engles and Bill Dorman, another former Stateline competitor, completed the top five.
Chad Ruhlman won the Late Model feature over Dave Scott, John Lobb, Matt Urban and Andy Kania.
