Emanuel Aces Moc-A-Tek Field
LAKEVILLE, PA- Jeff Emanuel won the Ace Transmission modified feature Sat. night at "The Thrill Track". Emanuel, finally picked up his first victory of the season, after being so close so many times, only to have bad luck stop him. Joe Eisenhauer and Alan Kellogg were defintely the cars to beat in the early going, putting on a spectacular show, with Gary Griffin, Mike Hendershot and Alan Rudalavage giving chase. Emanual was up to third by lap
eight with Ed Strada following him through the field. Emanuel passed Kellogg and then Eisenhauer to take the lead on lap thirteen, followed by Strada, Eisenhauer, Kellogg and roselli. Kellogg and rosel- li continued their outstanding dual, with Kellogg taking third at the end. Emanuel, who was turning 14.0 second laps, was not to be denied this week.
Following him were Strada, Kellogg, Eisenhauer, Roselli, Bill Title and Nick Barassi. There were thirty modifieds on Saturday, with Alan Rudalavage, Ron Mawson, Tom Housby, Scott Snyder, Kip Lowitz and Todd Smith making their first appearance.
Greg Kovaleski picked up win number six of the season, holding off strong challenges from last weeks winner Bob Grammes. Strong running Larry Hendershot was third, Brian Ace fourth, Tom Laner fifth and Rookie Steve Svandva sixth.
Mike Loney picked up win number four in the Ace Transmission street stock fea- ture. Loney held off Scott Semanto Notch the victory. Dan Hopkins was third fol- lowed by Todd Swartz, Russ Strausser, Mike Petrilak and Rookie Pete Sobol.
