Matt Sheppard soars to Land of Legends Raceway win
Matt Sheppard won the 35 lap Regular Event at the Land of Legends Raceway on Saturday. This was Matt's twelfth win of the season, third at Land of Legends Raceway this year, and sixth Weekly win of the season. For the 35 year old Sheppard it was their -seventh win putting him first on the Land of Legends Raceway win list since 2006. Finishing 1.2020 seconds behind in second was Erick Rudolph. This was Erick's tenth Top 5 of the season, fouth at Land of Legends Raceway this year, and seventh Weekly Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Billy Dunn, their eighth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Justin Haers, their fifth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Steve Paine, their fifth top 5 of the year. Jimmy Phelps, Max McLaughlin, Adam Roberts, James Sweeting, and Alan Johnson rounded out the top 10.
