Matt Sheppard parks in Utica Rome Speedway victory lane

Matt Sheppard won the 50 lap Jan Corcoran Memorial at the Utica Rome Speedway on Sunday. This was Matt's twenty-fouth win of the season, second at Utica Rome Speedway this year, and sixth Unsanctioned win of the season. For the 36 year old Sheppard it was their thirty-ninth win putting him second on the Utica Rome Speedway win list since 2006.
Finishing 2.7360 seconds behind in second was Peter Britten. This was Peter's eighth Top 5 of the season, first at Utica Rome Speedway this year, and first Unsanctioned Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Marc Johnson, their eleventh top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Erick Rudolph, their thirty-fifth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Billy Dunn, their twenty-fifth top 5 of the year.
Danny Johnson, Rocky Warner, Billy Whittaker, Pat Ward, and Jack Lehner rounded out the top 10.
