Mat Williamson brings home win at Merrittville Speedway
Mat Williamson won the 35 lap Regular Event at the Merrittville Speedway on Saturday. This was Mat's third win of the season, second at Merrittville Speedway this year, and third Weekly win of the season. For the 28 year old Williamson it was their twenty-fifth win putting him second on the Merrittville Speedway win list since 2006. Finishing 2.2590 seconds behind in second was Chad Brachmann. This was Chad's second Top 5 of the season, second at Merrittville Speedway this year, and second Weekly Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Pete Bicknell, their second top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Boyd MacTavish, their first top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Ryan Susice, their third top 5 of the year. Tommy Flannigan, Scott Wood, Mike Bowman (CAN), Todd Gordon, and Fred Carleton rounded out the top 10.
