Mat Williamson gets the top prize at Merrittville Speedway
Mat Williamson won the 35 lap Regular Event at the Merrittville Speedway on Saturday. This was Mat's eighth win of the season, fouth at Merrittville Speedway this year, and sixth Weekly win of the season. For the 28 year old Williamson it was their twenty-seventh win putting him first on the Merrittville Speedway win list since 2006. Finishing 0.0880 seconds behind in second was Gary Lindberg. This was Gary's fouth Top 5 of the season, third at Merrittville Speedway this year, and third Weekly Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Pete Bicknell, their seventh top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Chad Brachmann, their sixth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Mike Bowman (CAN), their second top 5 of the year. Todd Gordon, Ryan Susice, Scott Wood, Tim Jones, and Tommy Flannigan rounded out the top 10.
