Rex King Sr. outruns Sharon Speedway field

Rex King Sr. won the 25 lap Apple Festival Nationals Night 1 at the Sharon Speedway on Friday. This was Rex's third win of the season, first at Sharon Speedway this year, and first Unsanctioned win of the season. For the 52 year old King it was their thirty-first win putting him first on the Sharon Speedway win list since 2006.
Finishing 0.3850 seconds behind in second was Garrett Krummert. This was Garrett's eleventh Top 5 of the season, third at Sharon Speedway this year, and first Unsanctioned Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Rex King Jr., their twenty-second top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Jim Rasey, their eighth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Mike Maresca, their eighth top 5 of the year.
Jeremiah Shingledecker, Dave Murdick, Jim Weller Jr., Brad Rapp, and Lonny Riggs rounded out the top 10.
