Matt Sheppard comes through with win on Short Track Super Series at Orange County Fair Speedway

Matt Sheppard won the 50 lap Short Track Super Series Hard Clay Open at the Orange County Fair Speedway on Sunday. This was Matt's third win of the season, first at Orange County Fair Speedway this year, and first Short Track Super Series win of the season. For the 36 year old Sheppard it was their first win putting him forty-ninth on the Orange County Fair Speedway win list since 2004.
Finishing 2.4320 seconds behind in second was Stewart Friesen. This was Stewart's fouth Top 5 of the season, first at Orange County Fair Speedway this year, and second Short Track Super Series Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Anthony Perrego, their fouth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Brett Hearn, their second top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Mike Gular, their first top 5 of the year.
Mike Mahaney, Brian Krummel, Danny Johnson, Andy Bachetti, and Billy Decker rounded out the top 10.
