Matt Sheppard won the 101 lap Super DIRTcar Series Liberty 100 at the Land of Legends Raceway on Thursday. This was Matt's Twentieth win of the season, fifth at Land of Legends Raceway this year, and third Super DIRTcar Series win of the season. For the 36 year old Sheppard it was their -fouth win putting him first on the Land of Legends Raceway win list since 2004. Finishing 0.6910 seconds behind in second was Billy Dunn. This was Billy's sixteenth Top 5 of the season, seventh at Land of Legends Raceway this year, and second Super DIRTcar Series Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Justin Wright, their third top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Jimmy Phelps, their ninth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Peter Britten, their twelfth top 5 of the year. Larry Wight, Danny Johnson, Tim Fuller, Billy Decker, and Pat Ward rounded out the top 10.
