Matt Sheppard grabs Weedsport Speedway checkers
Matt Sheppard won the 35 lap All-Star Showcase at the Weedsport Speedway on Sunday. This was Matt's sixteenth win of the season, first at Weedsport Speedway this year, and second Unsanctioned win of the season. For the 36 year old Sheppard it was their twenty-third win putting him first on the Weedsport Speedway win list since 2004. Finishing 6.9480 seconds behind in second was Matt Farnham. This was Matt's second Top 5 of the season, first at Weedsport Speedway this year, and first Unsanctioned Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Chris Hile, their second top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Jimmy Phelps, their fifth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Kyle Coffey, their third top 5 of the year. Alan Johnson, Larry Wight, Mat Williamson, Pat Ward, and Danny Johnson rounded out the top 10.
