Stewart Friesen soars to Short Track Super Series win at Penn Can Speedway





Stewart Friesen won the 55 lap Short Track Super Series King of the Can at the Penn Can Speedway on Saturday. This was Stewart's twenty-seventh win of the season, second at Penn Can Speedway this year, and fifth Short Track Super Series win of the season. For the 37 year old Friesen it was their fifth win putting him fifteenth on the Penn Can Speedway win list since 2004.
Finishing in second was Andy Bachetti. This was Andy's fifteenth Top 5 of the season, first at Penn Can Speedway this year, and second Short Track Super Series Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Nick Rochinski, their second top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Matt Sheppard, their forty-first top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Mike Gular, their twenty-third top 5 of the year.
Billy Decker, Tyler Dippel, Danny Creeden, Danny Johnson, and Craig Hanson rounded out the top 10.
