Matt Sheppard trimuphs on Short Track Super Series at Thunder Mountain Speedway

Matt Sheppard won the 50 lap Short Track Super Series Lightning on the Mountain at the Thunder Mountain Speedway on Tuesday. This was Matt's twenty-third win of the season, first at Thunder Mountain Speedway this year, and fouth Short Track Super Series win of the season. For the 39 year old Sheppard it was their second win putting him twenty-eighth on the Thunder Mountain Speedway win list since 2002.
Finishing 0.9230 seconds behind in second was Alan Barker. This was Alan's seventeenth Top 5 of the season, thirteenth at Thunder Mountain Speedway this year, and first Short Track Super Series Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Rusty Smith, their twelfth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Andy Bachetti, their thirty-fouth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Mike Mahaney, their thirty-first top 5 of the year.
Anthony Perrego, J.R. Hurlburt, Darren Smith, Bobby Hackel IV, and Billy VanInwegen rounded out the top 10.
