Stewart Friesen outruns Super DIRTcar Series field at Bristol Motor Speedway

Stewart Friesen won the 40 lap Super DIRTcar Series Bristol Throwdown Night 1 at the Bristol Motor Speedway on Friday. This was Stewart's seventh win of the season, first at Bristol Motor Speedway this year, and second Super DIRTcar Series win of the season. For the 37 year old Friesen it was their first win putting him first on the Bristol Motor Speedway win list since 2002.
Finishing 7.7390 seconds behind in second was Tyler Dippel. This was Tyler's third Top 5 of the season, first at Bristol Motor Speedway this year, and first Super DIRTcar Series Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Mat Williamson, their seventh top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Tim Sears Jr., their second top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Mike Mahaney, their sixth top 5 of the year.
Gary Tomkins, Chad Brachmann, Erick Rudolph, Peter Britten, and Max McLaughlin rounded out the top 10.
