Matt Sheppard heads to victory lane on Super DIRTcar Series at Ransomville Speedway





Matt Sheppard won the 101 lap Super DIRTcar Series Summer Nationals at the Ransomville Speedway on Tuesday. This was Matt's thirteenth win of the season, first at Ransomville Speedway this year, and second Super DIRTcar Series win of the season. For the 38 year old Sheppard it was their second win putting him nineteenth on the Ransomville Speedway win list since 2002.
Finishing 0.8600 seconds behind in second was Peter Britten. This was Peter's fourteenth Top 5 of the season, first at Ransomville Speedway this year, and second Super DIRTcar Series Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Stewart Friesen, their thirty-first top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Mike Mahaney, their twenty-second top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Erick Rudolph, their twenty-first top 5 of the year.
Justin Haers, Ryan Susice, Matt Farnham, Larry Wight, and Jimmy Phelps rounded out the top 10.
