Mat Williamson drives to Merrittville Speedway win
Mat Williamson won the Opening Night at the Merrittville Speedway on Saturday. This was Mat's fifth win of the season, first at Merrittville Speedway this year, and second Weekly win of the season. For the 31 year old Williamson it was their forty-fouth win putting him second on the Merrittville Speedway win list since 2002. Finishing in second was Fred Carleton. This was Fred's first Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Mike Bowman, their second top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Austin Wood, their first top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Gary Lindberg, their first top 5 of the year. Pete Bicknell, Tim Jones, Tyler Willard, Chad Chevalier, and Dalton Slack rounded out the top 10.
