Darren Smith races to Thunder Mountain Speedway victory
Darren Smith won the 51 lap Mike Colsten Memorial at the Thunder Mountain Speedway on Tuesday. This was Darren's first win of the season. This is Darren's first win since 2002! For Smith it was their first win putting him forty-second on the Thunder Mountain Speedway win list since 2002. Finishing in second was Billy Decker. This was Billy's sixteenth Top 5 of the season, third at Thunder Mountain Speedway this year, and first Non-series Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Cory Costa, their fouth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Rusty Smith, their seventh top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Alan Barker, their ninth top 5 of the year. Eric Leet, Nick Nye, Danny Johnson, Erick Rudolph, and Danny Creeden rounded out the top 10.
