Erick Rudolph won the 60 lap DIRTcar 358 Modifieds Mohawk Nationals Day 1 at the Mohawk International Raceway on Friday. This was Erick's ninth win of the season, first at Mohawk International Raceway this year, and first DIRTcar 358 Modifieds win of the season. For the 29 year old Rudolph it was their first win putting him thirty-third on the Mohawk International Raceway win list since 2002. Finishing 0.2580 seconds behind in second was Billy Dunn.
