Billy VanPelt charges to victory lane at Woodhull Raceway

Billy VanPelt won the 35 lap Lyle Sherwood Memorial at the Woodhull Raceway on Saturday. This was Billy's sixth win of the season, sixth at Woodhull Raceway this year, and first Non-series win of the season. For the 55 year old VanPelt it was their thirty-ninth win putting him first on the Woodhull Raceway win list since 2002.
Finishing 3.8440 seconds behind in second was Donnie Lawson Jr.. This was Donnie's ninth Top 5 of the season, ninth at Woodhull Raceway this year, and first Non-series Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Dayton Brewer, their sixth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Jake Dgien, their third top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Brady Fultz, their tenth top 5 of the year.
Shannon Whaley, Cory Costa, Brian Doolittle, Joe Dgien, and Dick Hess rounded out the top 10.
