Stewart Friesen collects Fonda Speedway victory
Stewart Friesen won the 30 lap Opening Night at the Fonda Speedway on Saturday. This was Stewart's sixth win of the season, first at Fonda Speedway this year, and first Weekly win of the season. For the 37 year old Friesen it was their -eth win putting him first on the Fonda Speedway win list since 2002. Finishing 8.3230 seconds behind in second was Josh Hohenforst. This was Josh's first Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Mike Maresca, their eighth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Demetrios Drellos, their first top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Bobby Varin, their first top 5 of the year. Brian Gleason, Jack Lehner, Rocky Warner, Jessica Friesen, and Ronnie Johnson rounded out the top 10.
