Stewart Friesen is victorious on Short Track Super Series at Utica-Rome Speedway





Stewart Friesen won the 61 lap Short Track Super Series Richie Evans Remembered 61 at the Utica-Rome Speedway on Thursday. This was Stewart's nineteenth win of the season, second at Utica-Rome Speedway this year, and third Short Track Super Series win of the season. For the 37 year old Friesen it was their fifty-fouth win putting him first on the Utica-Rome Speedway win list since 2002.
Finishing 2.0300 seconds behind in second was Matt Sheppard. This was Matt's thirty-fouth Top 5 of the season, eighth at Utica-Rome Speedway this year, and eighth Short Track Super Series Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Rocky Warner, their fifteenth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Mat Williamson, their twenty-ninth top 5 of the year.
