Ron Smoker won the 30 lap BRP Modified Tour BRP Tour at Latrobe at the Latrobe Speedway on Thursday. This was Ron's fouth win of the season, first at Latrobe Speedway this year, and first BRP Modified Tour win of the season. For the 38 year old Smoker it was their first win putting him first on the Latrobe Speedway win list since 2002. Finishing in second was Del Rougeux Jr.. This was Del's fourteenth Top 5 of the season, first at Latrobe Speedway this year, and second BRP Modified Tour Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Dave Murdick, their ninth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Andy Priest, their twelfth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Kevin Bolland, their eleventh top 5 of the year. Skip Moore, Brian Swartzlander, Jeff Hoffman, Mark Flick, and JR McGinley rounded out the top 10.
