Jeremiah Shingledecker won the 25 lap Labor Day Classic Day 1 at the Tri-City Raceway Park on Saturday. This was Jeremiah's ninth win of the season, seventh at Tri-City Raceway Park this year, and first Non-series win of the season. For the 44 year old Shingledecker it was their twenty-seventh win putting him second on the Tri-City Raceway Park win list since 2002. Finishing 2.8300 seconds behind in second was Jimmy Holden. This was Jimmy's eleventh Top 5 of the season, eighth at Tri-City Raceway Park this year, and first Non-series Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Rick Regalski, their first top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Kyle Fink, their eighth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was JR McGinley, their eighth top 5 of the year. Kyle Holden, John Smith, Ryan Riffe, Lonny Riggs, and Dave Schrader rounded out the top 10.
