Stewart Friesen reaches Short Track Super Series North victory lane at Fonda Speedway

Stewart Friesen won the 50 lap Short Track Super Series North Firecracker 50 at the Fonda Speedway on Sunday. This was Stewart's seventh win of the season, third at Fonda Speedway this year, and first Short Track Super Series North win of the season. For the 38 year old Friesen it was their eighty-third win putting him first on the Fonda Speedway win list since 2000.
Finishing 0.6390 seconds behind in second was Matt Sheppard. This was Matt's thirty-first Top 5 of the season, second at Fonda Speedway this year, and fouth Short Track Super Series North Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Mat Williamson, their twenty-ninth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Danny Creeden, their seventeenth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Rocky Warner, their thirteenth top 5 of the year.
Chris Curtis, Tim Fuller, Bobby Varin, Nick Heywood, and Anthony Perrego rounded out the top 10.
