Matt Sheppard shines at Utica-Rome Speedway

Matt Sheppard won the 30 lap Regular Event at the Utica-Rome Speedway on Friday. This was Matt's sixth win of the season, third at Utica-Rome Speedway this year, and fouth Weekly win of the season. For the 39 year old Sheppard it was their fifty-first win putting him second on the Utica-Rome Speedway win list since 2000.
Finishing 5.5850 seconds behind in second was Andy Bachetti. This was Andy's fifth Top 5 of the season, first at Utica-Rome Speedway this year, and fouth Weekly Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Darren Smith, their third top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Bobby Hackel IV, their third top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Rocky Warner, their fifth top 5 of the year.
Shaun Walker, Alex Yankowski, Alan Johnson, Pat Ward, and Jessica Friesen rounded out the top 10.
