Stewart Friesen parks in Fonda Speedway victory lane
Stewart Friesen won the 40 lap Montgomery County Open at the Fonda Speedway on Sunday. This was Stewart's second win of the season, first at Fonda Speedway this year, and first Non-series win of the season. For the 38 year old Friesen it was their eighty-first win putting him first on the Fonda Speedway win list since 2000. Finishing 2.2300 seconds behind in second was Matt Sheppard. This was Matt's eighth Top 5 of the season, first at Fonda Speedway this year, and first Non-series Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Michael Maresca, their fifth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Jessica Friesen, their first top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Matt DeLorenzo, their second top 5 of the year. Mat Williamson, Alan Johnson, Danny Varin, Tim Fuller, and Ryan Odasz rounded out the top 10.
