Stewart Friesen won the 30 lap Thunder on the Thruway Thunder on the Thruway at the Fonda Speedway on Saturday. This was Stewart's ninth win of the season, fouth at Fonda Speedway this year, and third Thunder on the Thruway win of the season. For the 38 year old Friesen it was their eighty-fouth win putting him first on the Fonda Speedway win list since 2000. Finishing 3.3450 seconds behind in second was Rocky Warner. This was Rocky's seventeenth Top 5 of the season, ninth at Fonda Speedway this year, and second Thunder on the Thruway Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Demetrios Drellos, their twelfth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Jessica Friesen, their seventh top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Ronnie Johnson, their thirteenth top 5 of the year. Alex Yankowski, Matt DeLorenzo, Brian Gleason, Bobby Varin, and Chris Curtis rounded out the top 10.
