Matt Sheppard won the 30 lap Opening Night at the Outlaw Speedway on Friday. This was Matt's third win of the season, first at Outlaw Speedway this year, and first Weekly win of the season. For the 39 year old Sheppard it was their forty-third win putting him second on the Outlaw Speedway win list since 2000. Finishing 6.2050 seconds behind in second was Danny Johnson. This was Danny's third Top 5 of the season, second at Outlaw Speedway this year, and first Weekly Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Bobby Varin, their second top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Kyle Coffey, their third top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Phil Vigneri III, their first top 5 of the year. Jeffery Daugherty, Cory Costa, Ajay Potrzebowski Jr. , Eldon Payne Jr., and Pat Ward rounded out the top 10.
