Mat Williamson tames Merrittville Speedway





Mat Williamson won the 71 lap Canadian Grand Nationals at the Merrittville Speedway on Monday. This was Mat's eighteenth win of the season, seventh at Merrittville Speedway this year, and first Non-series win of the season. For the 32 year old Williamson it was their fifty-fouth win putting him second on the Merrittville Speedway win list since 2000.
Finishing 0.6250 seconds behind in second was Erick Rudolph. This was Erick's thirty-seventh Top 5 of the season, second at Merrittville Speedway this year, and second Non-series Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Gary Lindberg, their fifteenth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Ryan Susice, their twenty-second top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Steve Bernier, their nineteenth top 5 of the year.
