Mat Williamson races to Merrittville Speedway victory
Mat Williamson won the 35 lap Regular Event at the Merrittville Speedway on Saturday. This was Mat's ninth win of the season, third at Merrittville Speedway this year, and seventh Weekly win of the season. For the 32 year old Williamson it was their fiftieth win putting him second on the Merrittville Speedway win list since 2000. Finishing 2.0990 seconds behind in second was Pete Bicknell. This was Pete's seventh Top 5 of the season, fifth at Merrittville Speedway this year, and sixth Weekly Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Fred Carleton, their fouth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Shayne Pierce, their first top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Gary Lindberg, their fifth top 5 of the year. Chad Chevalier, Ryan Ferri, Brad Rouse, Luke Carleton, and Todd Gordon rounded out the top 10.
