Matt Sheppard drives to victory at Outlaw Speedway
Matt Sheppard won the Ted Siri Memorial at the Outlaw Speedway on Friday. This was Matt's twenty-fouth win of the season, first at Outlaw Speedway this year, and eleventh Weekly win of the season. For the 41 year old Sheppard it was their forty-sixth win putting him second on the Outlaw Speedway win list since 1996. Finishing in second was Bobby Varin. This was Bobby's second Top 5 of the season, first at Outlaw Speedway this year, and second Weekly Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Cory Costa, their ninth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Alex Payne, their fifteenth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Will Shields, their seventh top 5 of the year. Steve Paine, Tommy Collins Jr., Danny Johnson, Erick Rudolph, and Jeffery Daugherty rounded out the top 10.
