Matt Sheppard drives to Land of Legends Raceway win
Matt Sheppard won the 30 lap Championship Night at the Land of Legends Raceway on Saturday. For the 41 year old Sheppard it was their ninetieth win putting him first on the Land of Legends Raceway win list since 1996. Finishing 2.0020 seconds behind in second was Alan Johnson. This was Alan's seventh Top 5 of the season, fouth at Land of Legends Raceway this year, and sixth Weekly Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Kevin Root, their second top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Erick Rudolph, their thirty-fifth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Pat Ward, their fifth top 5 of the year. Justin Haers, Kyle Coffey, Dalton Martin, Danny Johnson, and Justin Wright rounded out the top 10.
