Matt Sheppard is victorious at Weedsport Speedway
Matt Sheppard won the 35 lap Empire State Big Block Challenge at the Weedsport Speedway on Sunday. This was Matt's Twentieth win of the season, second at Weedsport Speedway this year, and third Non-series win of the season. For the 41 year old Sheppard it was their twenty-eighth win putting him first on the Weedsport Speedway win list since 1996. Finishing 1.9900 seconds behind in second was Dave Marcuccilli. This was Dave's ninth Top 5 of the season, second at Weedsport Speedway this year, and first Non-series Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Erick Rudolph, their twenty-sixth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Mat Williamson, their thirty-fouth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Tim Sears Jr., their seventeenth top 5 of the year. Max McLaughlin, Peter Britten, Chad Phelps, Gary Lindberg, and Jimmy Phelps rounded out the top 10.
