Matt Sheppard drives to Short Track Super Series North win at Mohawk International Raceway

Matt Sheppard won the 50 lap Short Track Super Series North Summer Showdown at the Border at the Mohawk International Raceway on Tuesday. This was Matt's Twentieth win of the season, first at Mohawk International Raceway this year, and third Short Track Super Series North win of the season. For the 42 year old Sheppard it was their sixth win putting him sixteenth on the Mohawk International Raceway win list since 1996.
Finishing 0.4670 seconds behind in second was Stewart Friesen. This was Stewart's thirty-first Top 5 of the season, first at Mohawk International Raceway this year, and seventh Short Track Super Series North Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Chris Raabe, their thirteenth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Tim Fuller, their twenty-third top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was David Hebert, their sixteenth top 5 of the year.
Mat Williamson, Mario Clair, Anthony Perrego, Felix Roy, and Carey Terrance rounded out the top 10.
