Stewart Friesen soars to Thunder on the Thruway win at Utica-Rome Speedway

Stewart Friesen won the 30 lap Thunder on the Thruway Thunder on the Thruway at the Utica-Rome Speedway on Friday. This was Stewart's tenth win of the season, first at Utica-Rome Speedway this year, and second Thunder on the Thruway win of the season. For the 40 year old Friesen it was their sixty-fouth win putting him second on the Utica-Rome Speedway win list since 1996.
Finishing 2.4000 seconds behind in second was Mike Trautschold. This was Mike's third Top 5 of the season, third at Utica-Rome Speedway this year, and first Thunder on the Thruway Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Alex Yankowski, their sixteenth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Matt Sheppard, their twenty-sixth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Bobby Hackel IV, their sixth top 5 of the year.
Matt Janczuk, Justin Wright, Michael Maresca, Billy Decker, and Dave Constantino rounded out the top 10.
