Gary Lindberg heads to victory lane at Merrittville Speedway
Gary Lindberg won the 50 lap Championship Night at the Merrittville Speedway on Saturday. This was Gary's thirteenth win of the season, eighth at Merrittville Speedway this year, and twelfth Weekly win of the season. For Lindberg it was their twenty-third win putting him fouth on the Merrittville Speedway win list since 1996. Finishing 1.3380 seconds behind in second was Pete Bicknell. This was Pete's tenth Top 5 of the season, tenth at Merrittville Speedway this year, and eighth Weekly Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Brad Rouse, their eighth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Justin Sharp, their sixth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Fred Carleton, their ninth top 5 of the year. James Friesen, Todd Gordon, Martin Polhill, Shayne Pierce, and Scott Wood rounded out the top 10.
