Matt Sheppard earns checkers on Super DIRTcar Series at Thunder Mountain Speedway

Matt Sheppard won the 77 lap Super DIRTcar Series The Natural 77 Honoring Dale Planck at the Thunder Mountain Speedway on Monday. This was Matt's fouth win of the season, first at Thunder Mountain Speedway this year, and first Super DIRTcar Series win of the season. For the 42 year old Sheppard it was their third win putting him fortieth on the Thunder Mountain Speedway win list since 1991.
Finishing 0.8070 seconds behind in second was Peter Britten. This was Peter's fifth Top 5 of the season, first at Thunder Mountain Speedway this year, and first Super DIRTcar Series Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Erick Rudolph, their twelfth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Jordan McCreadie, their second top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Alex Yankowski, their fourteenth top 5 of the year.
Alex Payne, Felix Roy, Logan Watt, Lance Willix, and Anthony Perrego rounded out the top 10.
