Alex Yankowski won the 50 lap The New Yorker 50 at the Utica-Rome Speedway on Saturday. For the 21 year old Yankowski it was their fifth win putting him twenty-fifth on the Utica-Rome Speedway win list since 1991. Finishing 0.3680 seconds behind in second was Jimmy Phelps. This was Jimmy's fourteenth Top 5 of the season, second at Utica-Rome Speedway this year, and fouth Non-series Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Alex Payne, their thirty-ninth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Tim Fuller, their thirty-first top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Justin Haers, their fourteenth top 5 of the year. Anthony Perrego, Erick Rudolph, Payton Talbot, Darren Smith, and Rocky Warner rounded out the top 10.
