Matt Sheppard tops Utica-Rome Speedway field

Matt Sheppard won the 30 lap Thunder on the Thruway at the Utica-Rome Speedway on Friday. This was Matt's third win of the season, first at Utica-Rome Speedway this year, and first Weekly win of the season. For the 42 year old Sheppard it was their eighty-fifth win putting him first on the Utica-Rome Speedway win list since 1996.
Finishing 1.4980 seconds behind in second was Willy Decker. This was Willy's second Top 5 of the season, second at Utica-Rome Speedway this year, and first Weekly Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Anthony Perrego, their fouth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Alex Payne, their seventh top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Alex Yankowski, their ninth top 5 of the year.
Matt Janczuk, Rocky Warner, Justin Wright, Brandon Walters, and Brandon Loucks rounded out the top 10.
