Matt Sheppard strikes at Utica-Rome Speedway

Matt Sheppard won the 30 lap Regular Event at the Utica-Rome Speedway on Friday. This was Matt's fifteenth win of the season, fifth at Utica-Rome Speedway this year, and eighth Weekly win of the season. For the 43 year old Sheppard it was their eighty-ninth win putting him first on the Utica-Rome Speedway win list since 1991.
Finishing 5.2770 seconds behind in second was Alex Yankowski. This was Alex's twenty-eighth Top 5 of the season, fifth at Utica-Rome Speedway this year, and eleventh Weekly Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Willy Decker, their seventh top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Rocky Warner, their eleventh top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Matt Janczuk, their seventh top 5 of the year.
Cody Clark, Justin Wright, AJ Miller, Brad Godshalk, and Aaron Jacobs rounded out the top 10.
