Pete Bicknell drives to Merrittville Speedway win

Pete Bicknell won the 35 lap Regular Event at the Merrittville Speedway on Saturday. This was Pete's first win of the season. Pete's last win came on Sep 02, 2023, thirty six starts ago. For the 70 year old Bicknell it was their first hundred and twenty-eighth win putting him first on the Merrittville Speedway win list since 1991.
Finishing 2.1060 seconds behind in second was James Friesen. This was James's seventh Top 5 of the season, seventh at Merrittville Speedway this year, and seventh Weekly Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Shayne Pierce, their twelfth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Brad Rouse, their eleventh top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Darrell Farraway, their sixth top 5 of the year.
Luke Carleton, Fred Carleton, Paul Gaboury, Todd Gordon, and Scott Wood rounded out the top 10.
