Mat Williamson takes Land of Legends Raceway checkers
Mat Williamson won the Opening Night at the Land of Legends Raceway on Saturday. This was Mat's fouth win of the season, first at Land of Legends Raceway this year, and third Weekly win of the season. For the 35 year old Williamson it was their fifth win putting him Twentieth on the Land of Legends Raceway win list since 1991. Finishing in second was Alex Payne. This was Alex's eighth Top 5 of the season, first at Land of Legends Raceway this year, and second Weekly Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Justin Haers, their second top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Erick Rudolph, their ninth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Matt Sheppard, their tenth top 5 of the year. Peter Britten, Dalton Slack, Kyle Coffey, Nicholas Root, and Zach Payne rounded out the top 10.
