Mat Williamson outruns Land of Legends Raceway field for triumph
Mat Williamson won the 30 lap Regular Event at the Land of Legends Raceway on Saturday. This was Mat's eighth win of the season, third at Land of Legends Raceway this year, and sixth Weekly win of the season. For the 35 year old Williamson it was their seventh win putting him nineteenth on the Land of Legends Raceway win list since 1991. Finishing 3.0690 seconds behind in second was Alex Payne. This was Alex's fifteenth Top 5 of the season, third at Land of Legends Raceway this year, and fifth Weekly Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Matt Sheppard, their seventeenth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Nicholas Root, their second top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Kyle Coffey, their second top 5 of the year. Kasey Coffey, Tim Fuller, James Sweeting, Zach Payne, and Dalton Slack rounded out the top 10.
