Larry Wight outlasts competition at All-Tech Raceway

Larry Wight won the 40 lap Showdown in the Sunshine State Night 1 at All-Tech Raceway on Thursday. This was Larry's first win of the season. Larry's last win came on Jul 25, 2025, twenty two starts ago. For the 33 year old Wight, it was their second win, putting him third on the All-Tech Raceway all-time win list.

Chris Curtis started from the pole position. Larry Wight set the fastest lap of the race with a time of 20.031 seconds. Darren Smith was the hard charger of the race, gaining 12 positions to finish fifth.

Finishing 1.7510 seconds behind in second was Mat Williamson. This was Mat's first Top 5 of the season.

Finishing third was Matt Sheppard, their first top 5 of the year.

Alex Payne came home in the fourth position, their first top 5 of the season.

Fifth place went to Darren Smith, recording their first top 5 of the year.

Rick Laubach, Stewart Friesen, Alex Yankowski, Erick Rudolph, and Peter Britten rounded out the top 10.
