Jared Umbenhauer Returns to Victory Lane at Grandview Speedway Opening Night

Richland, Pennsylvania's Jared Umbenhauer secured his 11th career victory on April 11, 2026, marking a significant bounce-back performance at Grandview Speedway's Opening Night. Following a 20th-place finish at Big Diamond Speedway just one day prior, the 34-year-old Umbenhauer snapped a seven-race winless streak dating back to August 23, 2025. This victory accounts for his first win of the current season and represents his 9th career win at the track since 1990, placing him 18th on the track's all-time winners list. Umbenhauer also extended his current consistency, maintaining a two-race top-five streak and a three-race top-10 streak at the facility. In the 30-lap feature, Kyle Smith led the opening 17 circuits before Umbenhauer executed the winning pass on lap 18. Umbenhauer led the final 13 laps to edge runner-up Justin Grim by a margin of 0.3100 seconds. The podium was rounded out by third-place finisher Eddie Strada III. Completing the top 10 were Jim Housworth in fourth and Kyle Smith, who faded to fifth. They were followed by Tim Buckwalter, Alex Yankowski, Ryan Grim, Rick Laubach, and Louden Reimert.
