Duane Howard drives to Short Track Super Series win at Georgetown Speedway
Duane Howard won the 35 lap Short Track Super Series Blast at the Beach 4 at the Georgetown Speedway on Wednesday. This was Duane's fouth win of the season, first at Georgetown Speedway this year, and first Short Track Super Series win of the season. For the 54 year old Howard it was their second win putting him sixth on the Georgetown Speedway win list since 2008. Finishing in second was Ryan Watt. This was Ryan's twenty-seventh Top 5 of the season, second at Georgetown Speedway this year, and third Short Track Super Series Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was David VanHorn Jr., their eighth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Jamie Mills, their tenth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Ryan Godown, their twenty-seventh top 5 of the year. Stewart Friesen, Jimmy Horton, Jeremy Smith, Jordan Watson, and Matt Jester rounded out the top 10.
