Matt Sheppard won the 101 lap Super DIRTcar Series Labor Day Double Play at the Weedsport Speedway on Monday. This was Matt's thirty-fouth win of the season, first at Weedsport Speedway this year, and seventh Super DIRTcar Series win of the season. For the 35 year old Sheppard it was their thirteenth win putting him first on the Weedsport Speedway win list since 2008. Finishing 0.139 seconds behind in second was Stewart Friesen. This was Stewart's thirty-second Top 5 of the season, second at Weedsport Speedway this year, and eighth Super DIRTcar Series Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Jimmy Phelps, their twenty-third top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Peter Britten, their twenty-first top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Erick Rudolph, their forty-sixth top 5 of the year. Danny Varin, Tim McCreadie, Billy Decker, Gary Tomkins, and Pat Ward rounded out the top 10.
